CadTab terms of service
These terms govern CadTab, an online CAD editor at app.cadtab.com, in all its plans: Free, the free beta, Pro and Team. By creating an account you accept them. When you order a paid plan, you accept the version that is current at that moment. The English, Polish and German versions have the same content.
Where these terms say consumer, they mean a person who uses CadTab for purposes outside their trade or profession. For the right of withdrawal (section 7), a sole trader registered in Poland who concludes the contract for purposes that are not professional for them (Art. 38a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act) is treated like a consumer.
1. Who provides CadTab
CadTab is provided by Qstal sp. z o.o., ul. Poligonowa 22, 18-400 Łomża, Poland, entered in the National Court Register (KRS) under no. 0000827105, VAT no. PL7182154013, REGON 385461760 (“we”). Contact: hello@cadtab.com, or by post to the address above.
2. Plans
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | €0 | Viewing and printing the drawings in your account, opening DWG and DXF files from your computer to view them, downloading the drawings saved in your account as DXF files and deleting them. No editing or saving. |
| Beta (by invitation, while the beta lasts) | €0 | Full editing and saving, up to 1 GB of storage. |
| Pro | €9 per month incl. VAT | Full editing and saving, export to DXF and PDF, up to 5 GB of storage, one person. |
| Team | €29 per month incl. VAT | Everything in Pro for up to 5 people who work on the same drawings in one shared space, up to 10 GB of shared storage. |
- Prices are gross: they include the VAT of the country where the consumer lives. A business with a valid EU VAT number from a country other than Poland pays the same amount without VAT, under the reverse charge. The current prices are on cadtab.com/pricing and in the app before you order.
- Technical requirements: an internet connection, a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with JavaScript enabled, and an email address. We recommend a computer with a mouse; the editor is not designed for phones.
- The beta is a test version: features may change, be added or removed, and errors may occur. We will tell beta users by email at least 30 days before the beta ends. After that, beta accounts move to the Free plan unless you order a paid plan; your drawings stay in your account.
3. Your account
- You create an account with an invitation link, your name, a valid email address and a password, and you confirm the email address. The contract for the free plans is concluded when the account is created.
- You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Paid plans may be ordered only by adults.
- An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; if you think someone else knows it, change it and log out on all devices (Account page).
4. Ordering a paid plan and paying
- You order Pro or Team in the app (Account → Plan and payments): you choose the plan and your country, say whether you buy as a private person or as a business, accept these terms and, as a consumer, expressly request that the service starts immediately (section 7). You then pay on the payment page of our payment provider, Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland). The contract for the paid plan is concluded when the payment is confirmed. We confirm it by email, with these terms attached as a PDF file.
- The plan is a subscription paid monthly in advance by card or another method offered on the payment page. It renews automatically every month on the same day until you cancel it (section 6). Each renewal is charged to the payment method you gave. We never see your full card details; they are handled by Stripe.
- For every payment we issue an invoice or a receipt. You will find them in the app (Account → Plan and payments) and we also send them by email. Invoices for businesses registered in Poland are issued in the Polish National e-Invoicing System (KSeF).
- If a payment fails, we try again automatically for about 2 weeks and let you know by email. During that time your plan keeps working. If the payment still fails, the subscription ends and your account moves to the Free plan; your drawings stay.
- You can switch between Pro and Team at any time (Account → Manage subscription). The difference in price for the rest of the month is settled proportionally on the next invoice.
5. Your drawings
- Your drawings and files remain yours. You give us only the permissions needed to store, process, convert and display them so that we can provide the service to you. We do not use them for any other purpose, we do not use them to train AI models and we do not share them.
- Upload only files that you have the right to use.
- A change of plan never deletes drawings. When a paid plan ends, you can still open, print, download as DXF and delete all your drawings in the Free plan, even if they take up more space than the plan allows. You only cannot save new ones until you order a plan again or delete enough drawings.
- Keep your own copies of important drawings (you can download each drawing as a DXF file at any time). We make daily backups, but we cannot guarantee that no data will ever be lost.
6. Cancelling a paid plan
- You can cancel a paid plan at any time, without giving a reason: in the app (Account → Cancel subscription, or Manage subscription), with the form at cadtab.com/cancel, which works without logging in, or by email to hello@cadtab.com. We confirm every cancellation by email straight away.
- The cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for. Until then the plan works as before; after that your account continues in the Free plan. We do not refund the remaining part of a paid month, except in the cases described in sections 7, 10, 12 and 14 or where the law requires it.
7. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
As a consumer you can withdraw from the contract for a paid plan within 14 days from the day it was concluded, without giving any reason. Each new order is a new contract with its own 14 days.
- How: tell us clearly that you withdraw: with the “Withdraw from the contract” button in the app (Account → Plan and payments), with the form at cadtab.com/cancel, which works without logging in, by email to hello@cadtab.com or by post. You can use the model form in Annex 2, but you do not have to. It is enough to send your statement before the 14 days have passed. We confirm receipt by email straight away.
- Immediate start: when ordering, you expressly request that we start the service right away, before the withdrawal period ends. Under the law, a consumer who withdraws after such a request pays for the service provided until the withdrawal.
- Refund: for the first paid plan of your account we refund the whole first payment and do not charge for the days you used. For later orders we refund the price minus the part for the days you used the service until the withdrawal. We refund within 14 days of receiving your statement, using the same payment method, free of charge.
- After the withdrawal the subscription ends at once and your account moves to the Free plan. Your drawings stay.
- As a goodwill gesture, businesses may also withdraw on the same terms within 14 days of an order.
The full instructions on withdrawal are in Annex 1.
8. Team plan
- The person who orders the Team plan is the account owner and our contracting party. The owner may invite up to 4 more people. Each of them creates their own login and accepts these terms.
- Members work on the drawings in the team's shared space. These drawings belong to the owner's account. The owner can see the names and email addresses of the members and can remove them at any time.
- A member who is removed keeps their login with an empty account in the free plan; the drawings they made stay in the team. A person who already has a CadTab account can join a team when that account has no drawings and no active subscription.
- If the plan changes from Team to Pro, only the owner can edit; the other members can still view and print. Nothing is deleted.
- The owner is responsible for making sure that the members follow these terms.
9. What is not allowed
You may not use CadTab to store or share unlawful content; upload malware or files designed to harm the service or other users; try to break, overload or bypass the security or limits of the service; use automated tools to send mass requests; or give people who are not members of your team access to your account.
10. Availability and changes to the service
- We provide CadTab with care and aim to keep it available at all times, except for short maintenance breaks, which we try to plan outside working hours.
- We may develop and change CadTab, for example to add features, fix errors or meet legal and security requirements. If a change would significantly limit a paid plan, we tell you by email at least 30 days in advance; you can then end the contract before the change takes effect and get back the part of the price for the period after the change.
11. Price changes
We may propose a new price for a paid plan for important reasons, such as higher costs of servers or payments, changes in taxes or a substantial extension of the plan. We tell you by email at least 30 days before the new price is to apply and ask you to accept it. The new price applies to you only if you accept it. If you do not, your plan continues at the current price; we may then end the contract with 30 days’ notice to the end of a paid month.
12. Conformity of the service and complaints
- We are responsible for CadTab working as described in these terms (for consumers: under the rules on conformity of digital services with the contract).
- Send complaints to hello@cadtab.com or by post to the address above, describing the problem. We reply within 14 days.
- If CadTab does not work as agreed, we will fix it. If we cannot or refuse to do so, or if the problem is serious, a consumer may ask for a price reduction or end the contract; we then refund the price for the period in which the service did not conform.
13. Liability
We are liable under the law. Towards businesses, our liability for a paid plan is limited to the amount paid for CadTab in the 12 months before the damage, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses; in the free plans we are not liable towards businesses for slight negligence. These limits do not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or to injury to life or health. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that consumers have under mandatory law.
14. When we may end the contract
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. We will tell you by email and, unless the breach is serious (for example malware or an attack on the service), give you a chance to fix it first. If we close an account with a paid plan for a reason other than your breach, we refund the price for the period already paid but not used. We may end the free plans with at least 30 days’ notice by email, so that you can download your drawings.
15. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time (Account → Delete account). The account and all its drawings are deleted immediately. An active subscription ends at the same moment; if you are still within the 14-day withdrawal period, we treat the deletion as a withdrawal and refund as described in section 7. The owner of a team must remove the other members first. We keep invoices and payment records for as long as tax law requires, also after the account is deleted.
16. Personal data
How we process personal data, including for payments, is described in the privacy policy.
17. Disputes
Please write to us first; most problems can be solved quickly. If you are a consumer, you may also use free help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) in Poland, or from a consumer body in your country, such as the European Consumer Centre. We are not obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board and we do not take part in them.
18. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for important reasons, such as changes to the service, the law or security requirements. We email you the new version at least 30 days before it takes effect (14 days if you use only a free plan). Changes required by law and changes that are only in your favour or only clarify the terms apply from that date. Other changes apply to a paid plan only if you accept them; if you do not, the current terms continue to apply and we may end the contract with 30 days’ notice to the end of a paid month. If you use only a free plan and do not accept the changes, you can delete your account before they take effect.
19. Law and courts
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim before the courts of that country. For businesses, the court competent for our registered office has jurisdiction.
Annex 1: Instructions on withdrawal
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Qstal sp. z o.o., ul. Poligonowa 22, 18-400 Łomża, Poland, email: hello@cadtab.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. You can also electronically fill in and submit the model withdrawal form or any other unequivocal statement on our website cadtab.com/cancel or with the “Withdraw from the contract” button in the app. If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by email) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract. For the first paid plan of your account we waive this amount and refund the whole first payment.
