CadTab beta terms
These terms govern the free beta of CadTab, an online CAD editor at app.cadtab.com. By creating an account you accept them. The English, Polish and German versions have the same content.
1. Who provides CadTab
CadTab is provided by Qstal sp. z o.o., ul. Poligonowa 22, 18-400 Łomża, Poland, KRS 0000827105, NIP 7182154013, REGON 385461760 (“we”). Contact: hello@cadtab.com.
2. What the beta includes
- An account in the CadTab app and an online editor for 2D drawings: opening and importing DXF and DWG files, drawing, dimensioning, printing to scale, exporting to DXF and PDF.
- Storage for your drawings on our servers in Germany, by default up to 1 GB per account.
- The beta is free and available by invitation. It is a test version: features may change, be added or removed, and errors may occur.
Technical requirements: an internet connection, a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with JavaScript enabled, and an email address. We recommend a computer with a mouse; the editor is not designed for phones.
3. Your account
- You create an account with an invitation link, your name, a valid email address and a password, and you confirm the email address. The contract for the beta is concluded when the account is created.
- You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; if you think someone else knows it, change it and log out on all devices (Account page).
4. Your drawings
- Your drawings and files remain yours. You give us only the permissions needed to store, process, convert and display them so that we can provide the service to you. We do not use them for any other purpose and do not share them.
- Upload only files that you have the right to use.
- This is a beta: keep your own copies of important drawings (you can export each drawing as a DXF file at any time). We make daily backups, but we cannot guarantee that no data will ever be lost.
5. What is not allowed
You may not use CadTab to store or share unlawful content; upload malware or files designed to harm the service or other users; try to break, overload or bypass the security or limits of the service; use automated tools to send mass requests; or give other people access to your account.
6. Changes and end of the beta
- We may change the beta, including features and storage limits. If a change significantly limits what you can do, we will tell you by email in advance.
- We may end the beta. We will tell you by email at least 30 days in advance, so you can export your drawings, unless we must stop earlier for legal or security reasons.
- Paid plans will be offered under separate terms. You will never be charged unless you choose a paid plan yourself.
7. Liability
We provide the beta free of charge and with care, but we do not promise that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally, or the rights that consumers have under mandatory law, including the rules on conformity of digital services with the contract.
8. Ending the contract
- You can end the contract at any time, without giving a reason and at no cost, by deleting your account (app.cadtab.com → Account → Delete account) or by writing to hello@cadtab.com. If you are a consumer, this also covers your right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days.
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. We will tell you by email and, unless the breach is serious (for example malware or an attack on the service), give you a chance to fix it first.
9. Complaints
Send complaints to hello@cadtab.com or by post to the address above, describing the problem. We reply within 14 days. If you are a consumer, you may also use free help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) in Poland, or a consumer body in your country.
10. Personal data
How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for important reasons, such as changes to the service, the law or security requirements. We will email you the new version at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept it, you can delete your account before that date.
12. Law
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
